چکیده

Epoxiconazole is one of the most commonly used fungicides in world. The exposition humans to pesticides mainly attributed its residue food or occupational exposure agricultural production. Because lipophilic character, can accumulate brain Heusinkveld et al. (2013) [1]. Consequently, it urgent explore efficient strategies prevent treat Epoxiconazole-related damages. use natural molecules found our diet represents a promising avenue. Flavonoids belong major sub-group compounds possessing powerful antioxidant activities based on their different structural and sterical properties [2]. We choose evaluate Myricetin, flavonoid with wide spectrum pharmacological effects, for possible protective functions against Epoxiconazole-induced toxicities. cytotoxicity induced by this fungicide was evaluated cell viability, cycle arrest, ROS generation, enzyme activities, Malondialdehyde production, as previously described Hamdi al., 2019 [3]. apoptosis assessed through evaluation mitochondrial transmembrane potential (ΔΨm), caspases activation, DNA fragmentation, cytoskeleton disruption, nuclear condensation, appearance sub-G0/G1 peak (fragmentation nucleus) externalization Phosphatidylserine. This study indicates that pre-treatment F98 cells Myricetin during 2 h before significantly increased survival cells, restored synthesis S phase, abrogated regulated Catalase (CAT) Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), reduced MDA level. loss membrane potential, chromatin Phosphatidylserine externalization, Caspases activation were also Myricetin. Together, these findings indicate product able protect from apoptosis.

Evaluation of age effects on doxorubicin-induced toxicity in mesenchymal stem cells

Background: Doxorubicin, by aggregating in bone marrow, causes genotoxic effects, and thus reduces the repair ability of cells. The present study was conducted as an in vitro evaluation of age effects on the cytotoxicity induced by doxorubicin in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).    Methods: The MSCs of female BALB/c mice aged 1, 8, and 16 months were separated, characterized, and subse...
